The ORBIMAT 250 C implements a new concept in the design of Orbital Welding Power Supplies, it has several unique features and sets the future standards for Orbital Welding.

 Fully Automatic programming of the system, which requires only O.D., Wall-Thickness, Material and Welding Gas Type to be entered, this makes the creation of welding profile very easy and eliminates the use of complicated calculations and data sheets.

 Current slope between each level gives a smooth transition of heat input between levels. Of course, experienced users can still modify in a nearly limitless fashion or develop new welding procedures.

The menu driven software is easily controlled with a use of a large and well-presented 9” display.

 An optional, external water-cooler OBICOOL 3002, is available with the reservoir of 10 liters of water and a fan-cooled heat exchanger. This ensures high duty cycle cooling of the Weldheads.

 The water-cooler is mounted and fixed with quick-clamps to the bottom of the Powersource making it one total unit with the power-source.

 It even includes wire feed control as standard, this means this machine can be used with any weld head from ORBIMATIC range without the need of any upgrades.

DATA -LOGGING: The ORBIMAT 250 C has several unique data logging facilities, as standard, data log files can be printed with the integrated printer, alternatively a full-size printer can be connected via the Centronics parallel port. With the use of full function keyboard (supplied with the machine) additional information can be added to the data log files such as electrode type, welder’s name, detailed application description and so on.

 Since printing after every weld may not be practical under some conditions, the data log files can be stored an a standard Smart Media Card. ORBIMATIC offers an optimal Offline Programming package, which allows to transfer the welding profile and log files to any PC via standard 3-1/2” floppy disc drive. This package also includes ORBIPORT software for converting the log files into standard WORD or EXCEL report. This allows totally paperless archiving files for storage on any media.

 For maximum production the ORBITWIN 250 can be used to allow simultaneous connect of 2 weld heads. The ORBITWIN 250 will allow the connection of two different head models. Each weld head can be assigned a separate welding procedure and the ORBITWIN will automatically transfer all services to the weld head in use and recall the associated procedure. While one head is in use the other is isolated, allowing the operator to set one head while the other is welding.

 An optional Heavy Duty enclosure is available. The cove can be removed during operation: the bottom side can be used as a carryall.
